Allis B light switch removal

How in the world does one get the light switch out of the little rectangle box with out wrecking it? Picture included. I want to install a key switch to prevent a mishap.

as you loosen the nut you see there, you will be able to remove the bent section of the rod from the switch housing(it's not in there far) then you can finish removing the nut and take out the switch

Thanks Joe. I got the light switch out.

The reason I thru this request out there was I ruined one switch some years ago because that nut would not turn..

I know that feeling, I’ve had to take a Dremel tool to a few of those nuts!
