Outlook, command line argument and switch

May try getting help from Microsoft.

Windows 98 was the last time I ever used outlook express.

are you entering this into outlook or on the dos command line

if using the command line... re enter the command with a ? behind it to see list of switches you can use

All sorts of info on GOOGLE if you search for "The command line argument is not valid. Verify the switch you are using" including "fixes" and links to articles on the Mightgosoft Knowledge base.

microsoft is currently in the process of actively messing with outlook. this might be unfixable for the moment.

The tried and some times true
old guy's go to fix is to shutdown and restart.
The computer, that is.

I assume you have a shortcut icon to Outlook on your desktop, and are clicking on the icon to launch it. Try launching it using the Windows Start menu.
