YM1300D restoration

I bought this tractor in October 2023 with the intention of getting it mechanically sound and use it but that’s just not in me. I started with repairing the brakes
and that led to going all out so here’s some pic and descriptions of what I have done and currently am doing. First pic is how it sat when I bought it.

Next I changed the engine oil and hydraulic fluid the hydro was full of water from the bad shifter boot so I replaced that as well.

Now with the frame all tidied up gotta do the sheet metal and wheels! Everything that came off was blasted in my cabinet with exception of the hood, fenders and wheels they would not fit in the cab so I farmed the blasting out on them.

Had to stop with the sheet metal and wheels to replace the axle seals after the second steam cleaning they started leaking really bad.

As I stated earlier the tractor did run but it was very hard to start and smoked like a freight train so now to take care of that an inframe was the answer. I figured a broke oil control ring and sure enough that was it. The sleeves were in terrible condition and the rod bearings in hole #1 were terrible. So off to Fredrick’s equipment for some parts.
