This is the 226 diagram. Same as 2301 as far as dynamo/rectifier. Attached it because in English.

Without anything telling what each blue wire does, that schematic isn't much help if one has a compromised harness.

Perhaps a phone call to DB electrical can get some info as to which wire in the plug gets power, gives feedback, etc. as related to the Blue wires for both the regulator and alternator.

I talked to them, they had no tech support, only sales with no info.
