Bingo, since the last reply was not at the bottom, the read flag does not clear. This is the forth reply and is to the OP. Assumption, read flag will clear for me.

Sixth reply. Fifth reply did create the problem again except for the person who posted the fifth reply, for him (cpratt), it was fine, showed as read.
This reply will fix it for me again as it is to the OP and will appear at the bottom of the thread.
