Overfilled the crankcase a little

Changed oil in 12horse Kohler in cub cadet 129. Takes three pints. Oil quart bottle was black and didn’t see the semi transparent view line on side of bottle very well. Probably has half pint too much. Level is above the top full mark on dipstick.
should I drain some out, messy, or will this be ok to leave?
 
I would drain it down to the 'full' mark. Too much oil in there and the crank beats it into a foamy froth, it doesn't lubricate very well and it goes through the crankcase breather easily.
