what diameter are uts front headlamps?? 6 inch or 7 inch ? is there a definite size??

Pre 1951 they were the 7 inch, then they went to a 5 3/4 curved lens, still reflector type. When the UB's came out in 1953 they were sealed beam bulbs, approximately 5 3/4 inch size light.

Just to add, the rear was the same as the front, until mid 1951, then it was a combination flood / red tail lamp with a switch in the 5 3/4 inch size. That style was used on up to the UB-GBs

it's 1943...maybe wouldn't have lights originally but I do road runs in the uk so was needing something that looked authentic enough

1943 7 inch Guide. Have a war time 43 U. No electric. Doesn't even have dash just blank plate. On steel originally. 1938 -41 had chrome rings on lights until war restrictions. My 43 has cast steering wheel also due to rubber restrictions.

1943 would have the 7 inch one as mentioned. There were some around that time period that were curved lenses, but most were flat.
