John Deere LF-8 drop spreader year model

I’m working on restoring this John Deere LF-8 spreader and was curious if anyone could help me determine the year (serial number 34891). I know it is either 1954 or 1955, based off another spreader with a higher serial number that is 1955. Just not sure what serial number started the 1955 year models to differentiate if mine is a ‘54 or ‘55 model. Thanks!
