Checking Rear End Oil level on 3910 Ford Tractor

I recently came into possession of a Ford/New Holland tractor with 3910 transmission and rear end. I can find the dipstick for the transmission next to the filler hole. But where do I check the oil for the rear end. Parts diagram seems to show a dipstick on the right side of the rear end, like for a 3930, but nothing like that on this rear end. The filler plugs are there on the top of the rear end. Would it be correct to use Ford New Holland 134 hytrans fluid in both sections? By chance are the transmission and rear end one continuous sump for the transmission, rear end, and sump for the hydraulics???
