Belarus 825 hydraulic remotes

So Ive ended up with this 825 with cab and loader and duals.
Everything works pretty good good and Ive figured the star
shifting out it doesnt even leak much. There are lots of
leavers and foot petals and ways to change things on this
tractor Im getting them figured out.

But Im not sure about how to get the two sets of hydraulic
remotes to work. There are three leavers on the right of the
dash and the left and middle are plumbed into the loader. The
right lever runs three pt lift arms.

The remotes at the back have inline shut offs which are free
and move open and closed but no oil. Following it from the
remotes back the hoses / metal lines looks like they are
coming from where the loader hoses come out of on the valve
body or pump.
There is a leaver on the side of the pump at the right hand
side. Is this a diverter from the loader to the left and right
remotes?

Ill try to post pic later but any thoughts of advice would be
appreciated.
Thanks, Grant.

The lever is there to put the pump in neutral if I remember correctly.

Mine has valves in front of the cab plumbed into the loader lines. These valves have to be closed in order to use the rear outlets.

I assume you know the pump is working.

the 3 point has down pressure and there may be a lock on it to lock it in the up position, you have to unlock every time you bring it to the top all the way as it does it automatically.

The pump is working. So youre saying put the pump in neutral and close the lines on the loader ( have it up in the air and lock / close I t up) Then open the lines on the remotes and reengage the pump.

As it is I have a side swing three point flail mower on it. I have it locked straight and behind me. But I would like to at least use one set of remotes to kick the mower out to the side.

Thanks. Ill take pictures in the morning and play with it then.

I went out and took some pictures of the pump leaver and the valves on the loader cylinders and the remote shut offs.

Sorry they are sideways.
The pump leaver handle slides out like a lock release and then moves down to disengage ( I think ) and in its current position its engaged.

Any other thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks cjunrau for replying above.

Pump lever should always be engaged, last 825 I was around the levers on the remote valve bodies were just used to help keep oil form leaking out. Each remote line had a ball valve/lever near the coupler. No oil flows unless a hose is connected and the lever must be inline (not crosswise) for the remote to work.

The two levers that run your loader are the ones that run the remotes, to as long as those are connected, hooking a cylinder to the remote isn't going to work unless you can isolate the loader cylinder (oil will flow and power cylinder that is easiest, i.e. loader will lower instead of remote implement raising)

that little tap on the tilt cylinder must be closed to use the rear remotes. should be one on the lift as well. Mine must have quit working at some point as someone had plumbed a ball valve in the line already when I bought mine.

You can leave the pump engaged all the time.

The 3 point has a lock in the up position that is mechanical and if it's locked and you push the leaver down you can bend some stuff if your pump is working 100%. unlike other 3 points the belarus just has a cylinder mounted on top of the trans that operates the 3 point. You can lift the back of the tractor off the ground with a 3 point blade on there. kind of nice to have that down pressure when making and straitening driveways.

I don't ahve access to my other laptop right now, but I have a Belarus forum bookmarked. Might want to do a search. I have seen operators manuals on Ebay too. Always good to have them.

Thanks for the replys guys.
Ill try closing the taps on the bucket tilt to see if I can get the mower shifting to the side. Im not as worried about the tilt.

Yes if this tractor is going to stick around here I should probably get a manual. Its very utilitarian but its nice to have a tractor hooked up to one implement.
Grant.

Yes I can get it to work.
One tap / valve on the bucket cylinder worked fine. The other has a brazed plug in it so I cant close it. But thats ok. All I had to do was run the bucket to the end up or down and then the oil would divert to the back remote and swing it out. Its not a critical movement, just while going out to the field I like it behind me.

Good to know about the leaver to disengage the pump although Im not sure why it needs to be disengage unless you dont want to use any hydraulic function at all ever???

Thanks again guys.

The idea was the make it easier to start the engine in really cold temperatures, you weren't trying to turn hyd pump and -30 hyd oil.

I've only used the disconnect once, battery was really weak and disconnecting the hyd pump allowed the engine to spin just enough...

That actually makes sense.

Went out mowing. Was working fine and then one of the metal
lines to the remotes broke.
I shut down and will take it off and just get a hose made
tomorrow to fit in there.
I suppose I could grade the end back on this is an
interesting tractor.

There is a lot of hate directed at anything Belarus, but I know some guys that bought one years back in desperation and fell in love with them. It's the same with some other brands too. Comes down to actual experience vs barstool experts and internet legends!

Exactly.

Here you go . These things are interesting alright there was a lot of them around here for a few years I always figured you could launch into space if you knew the right combination of levers and pedals and dials to turn and to what setting . I am looking into buying one myself

So the broken steel hydraulic line is actually a bit of a dilemma. I figured it would be easy to just have a hose made in place. Assumed metric fittings.
I couldnt remove the pipe without cutting it in the middle again I assume Im just getting a 5 hose made up. Maybe not.

The one end to the remote is BSP, no problem there. But the other end into the tee off the steel line to the bucket cylinders is 20 mm metric but Ive been to 4 hydraulic shops and the metric style they all have is a different modern they called it taper.

Anyone have any idea what the weird Russian fitting is called.
Im sure Ill be able to improvise somehow.

I found an online manual for free SV. Ill post the link later tonight.
Thanks.

Hopefully you can find the fitting you need . Is it one somebody can order or is it obsolete? Id be very interested to see the manual link thanks

I'd talk to a machine shop about making an adapter to go to a standard thread. Shouldn't be rocket science.
