2016 F250 auto locking hub.

How did I screw this up. I put a new wheel
bearing assembly on my 2016 F250 4x4. Now
the auto part no longer works. But works
if turn hub to lock. Worked fine before on
auto.

You created a vacuum leak in the wheel end. Did you you put the o-ring on the outside of the bearing? Did you check the seal inside the knuckle that seals the axle? Did you reseal the locking hub to the wheel hub?

Not certain on one that new but on the older ones you had to always replaced that big expensive seal behind the bearing when replacing the wheel bearing.

I never checked the seal on the axle housing. I put a complete bearing and housing in it. Put new red O-ring in. Greased it and the hub. Thanks. The Alignment shop guy said I just installed it wrong. Said to bring it by and he could fix it in a few minutes. Think I'll do that. I've had it apart enough times. Thanks guys again.
