Yes the parts books show it available at serial number 120001. I don't think there were hydraulics on all the tractors in 1947 so the early tractors would have used the mechanical shift lever. It was available on both Row Crop and Standard models.

Probably has the 13/48 ring and pinion. I believe that combo was more common on standards.

Are there any letters/numbers after the serial number?

A. M. Aitkins, that clamp is to hold a hydraulic cylinder. When hydraulics lift implements were first getting started some farmers kept the cylinder with the tractor instead of leaving it on the implement.
