Oliver identification

Yes the parts books show it available at serial number 120001. I don't think there were hydraulics on all the tractors in 1947 so the early tractors would have used the mechanical shift lever. It was available on both Row Crop and Standard models.

What is that clamp on the front of the fender for?

Also did they offer a high speed transmission for the Oliver 88s? Because mine goes way faster than a regular 88. Thanks

Probably has the 13/48 ring and pinion. I believe that combo was more common on standards.

Are there any letters/numbers after the serial number?
