Case 930 transmission bearing needles in oil.

I have been lucky to not have that happen yet on any of my comfort kings. Hopefully someone that has rebuilt a few of these transmissions can give some first hand insight. I would be getting a parts manual out and try to figure out where the small needle bearings were used.

    1240 JD planter

I own a plate 1240 planter. I kept it after buying my 7000 as a back up as on mine I can convert to narrow rows by moving the wheel brackets if I wanted to. The JD steel plates I have say H1555 on them I don't know what the plastic number would be. If I remember right there are 3 different...

    730 Diesel ignition switch ,..

By using a simple test light will find the issue, I have replaced the switches on my 730ck diesel and 730ck gas and my 1030ck too. If you own them long enough they all will wear out. But mine were all over 40 years old when they failed so I think I got my money's worth.

    1030 miss

Jon, Buying or getting use of a decent thermal heat gun will help narrow down what cylinder it is missing on, the exhaust temp taken on the exhaust manifold close to the head will hopefully tell you. Did you change any heads or just rebuild your own?
