    Use the ac delco 45 plugs, not r45 as they will kill a magneto. And copper core wires also with a magneto.

    Amp gauge

    What would cause the amp gauge to jump back and forth when engine rpms is above 1/4 throttle. Replace generator and cut out but the gauge still jumps back and forth. 1939 Wc 6 volt system. new or old battery makes no difference on the gauge action.

    Will PTO from a C fit a B?

    Yes, I put a C pto assembly on my B with hydraulic pump, biggest problem was getting the engagement lever block in the slide bracket for the pto. My B did not have a hydraulic pump on it and I needed hydraulics on mime.

    When some one asks if I want some help my reply is I will take all the volunteer help I can get some times some of the volunteer help says I do not work for nothing. My reply to them is I do not pay for volunteer help.

    Sounds like the clutch is going bad, replace the clutch assembly and pilot bearing/bushing and throw out bearing.

    Allis D-17 raised decals on hood what series?

    Does any one have a picture of a D17 with a decal from the factory that says series 1 or series 2, I have never seen a D17 tractor with that decal.

    Allis Chalmers B

    The Allis Chalmers B will handle a 5 ft mower with no problem. I have a L59 woods finish mower on my AC B tall heavy grass is no problem for the tractor.

    Depending on the hauler, cost to haul the tractor will range for as low as $3.00 to as high as $5.00 to $8.00 a mile.
