    Glen, That is correct. I have a rhyme to remind myself where / how they go. Two to the top and two to the back. I counted top back thrust twice. Remember to align bottom cap by prying the crankshaft to the rear and then pry it back to front to align the top and bottom thrust plates. DW

    It would make you slobber!!

    Just removed the hood from a customers 1972 4020 (S/N 2648XX) to split for it very first clutch job. Clutch housing bolts have never had a wrench on them. Owner told me he is second owner with 4844 hrs. Never been painted or waxed and not a dent or scratch to be found on it!! No leaks just dust...

    This would be about as easy as they get for an engine swap. Either engine will fit and except common parts from original engine / application like flywheel, clutch and rear adapter housing. The diesel may take a different water pump as the original 180 gas engine can / was a little different...

Anther possibility is that the oil may just look like it has air mixed with it but it may be just be stirred due to a restriction on the draw side of the pump.
