    Delco generator

It's an Oliver 66. They were 6v, but all of the Oliver diesels of that vintage were 12v and the supers and 3 digits were 12 from 1957 on. I bought that 12v generator and regulator at the National Oliver Summer Show several years ago and put it on this early 66 gas. Everything was a direct bolt...

    Delco generator

I give up for today. I thought I had it figured out. When I jumped a wire on it again, the gen ran and it turned the fan. It's one of those tractors with two belts. One wide one from the front pulley to the fan, a narrow one from the fan to the gen. The wide fan belt was quite loose. I had to...

    Delco generator

OK, I took the wire off F. Started the tractor. Not the slightest flicker to the test light on the gen post or regulator post. Won't light up A either unless I touch the wire back on the F, then it lights up. I pushed on the big contact in the regulator, it tried to spin the gen and after a...

    Delco generator

I'll take the F terminal off and see if there's a little flicker there when it' running, but everything else that you said, I already checked.

    Delco generator

We know how much I love electrical problems. I can usually get a generator to charge, but I'm running out of patience with this one. Delco 12v, two brush, four posts on the regulator. Which posts should light up a test light when it's running? All I have is my test light, my son has my meter...

    White 2-45

I don't know anything about parts for one. I've got a Fiat built model and love it, but I don't think I'd spend my money on one of the Isekis. Is it front wheel assist? One of the Mennonites had one with FWA, broke an axle and couldn't find one anywhere. He took it to the crusher and sold it for...

    White 2-45

The were an Iseki. I don't know how you feel about that. They didn't have as good a reputation as the Fiat builts.

I’m new to Oliver forum, need value of1941 Oliver 60 wide front end.

In my experience, it wasn't unusual for them to need wrist pin bushings. Major surgery.

    White 2-50 Transmission Problems

I don't, but you can widen your search by finding out which other tractors are the same. Fiat, Long, Oliver, Allis Chalmers........ They were all Fiats.

    Farmhand 22 loader,

It's going to depend on the tractor that you have it on. I've got one on an Oliver 1600 and the legs aren't long enough. They'd be fine if it was on a tractor that sat lower to the ground.

    Super 77 choke

No, they used a cable. Right side of the steering column. Lower right dash.

    Oliver paint

If they cheeped out and didn't buy the Clover White, they probably bought cheap green like Tractor Supply. It's darker than the AGCO paint and isn't right.

    A4T 1600 TRANSMISSION

I'm not wide awake yet, but didn't they use G955 parts?

    1650 hydraulics?

I think so. It has to be going somewhere. What happens if you switch the hoses?

    1650 hydraulics?

The buttons have nothing to do with it. They were to activate magnets in Oliver Hydra Lectric remote cylinders. I suppose it's possible that your problem is the packing in the cylinders. Pressure is holding one way but not the other Seems like they usually leak both ways, but maybe not necessarily.

    Slippery clutch

This was thin, hot, black used motor oil that was leaking out when I pushed on that cotter pin. About as thin as diesel fuel at that point in the day.

    Slippery clutch

Ya, but for oil. When I bought that tractor, the rear main was leaking in a stream the first day I worked it. I put a bottle in it and by the end of the day, it was down to a slow drip. Next day, the leak was gone. Like I said, I replaced the seal when I put a new clutch in it before, so I...
