Hey guys. I have a couple of questions. Got my ford 8n front mount started and running-it was the electronic ignition from pertronix that was the problem. Just wanting to clarify, is there supposed to be a resistor for 12v electronic ignition? I have browsed on here some for that answer, but...- fatl844

How to hand turn the starting motor
My ford 8n front mount just clicks when I push the button. It worked before but was having trouble starting it. After a while it just started clicking when I push the button. New distributor wiring?
New distributor, the wires on the old one went to the coil, I am assuming this one doesn't need the condenser, so I can take that one off? Here is the old one, and the new one- fatl844

Ford 8n starts but dies without choke
My ford 8n I just got it about a month ago and it would start but struggled to get going and strugged up hills. It was leaking at the glass bowl so I replaced it, and replaced the fuel line at the same time, kept the elbow, the little filter in the elbow the guy at the shop said looked ok. Fixed...- fatl844
