    Front rope seals

    I'm with Den N Ms here. The last rebuild on my 8N leaked at first like yours. It's been 14 years now and has not leaked since. Run it a bit and see if it stops.

    1951 8N 2 arm Governor responsivness

    Buddy had one a few years back, acting exactly the same. Tearing it down, I found that the drive gear was spinning on the shaft. Reset the gear on the shaft with some bearing retainer and it has worked great ever since.

    Zane Thang lift adjustment Question

    When doing the draft control adjustment Zane refers to pulling back the control rod. Is the 'control rod' he mentions also referred to as the lift control arm. Or am I missing something?
