Rad overflow tube .... never saw one of these before ....

My 1953 GMC truck has a similar setup. The pressure relief valve, (at the left) is replaceable (held in place by a wire snapring). Wonder if the kid behind the counter at NAPA could find one of those in his computer? John Deere "40" series tractors had a somewhat similar system with a "dummy"...

    4250 John Deere electrical problems

I think you may be on the right track, UR, the air cleaner restriction sensor would have a 2-wire plug with a wire with an eyelet dangling from it, I forget where that ground wire should be attached.

    Farmall 560 Diesel Alternator Conversion

You don't need to get rid of the mechanical oil gauge, just screw a 1/8" pipe thread "T" and nipple into the block port, the screw the new oil pressure switch and the original oil gauge line fitting into the "T".

    4250 John Deere electrical problems

It would be interesting if you could post a photo of the wire and the area where it is located. What problem were you having that got you started checking the voltage of "grounds"? Were you finding voltage with the wire connected or did you disconnect it for testing purposes?

    3020 fuel tank straps

Why can't yours be repaired? I repaired the straps on my 4020, one at the end and the other near the middle and you would never know by looking at them.

    Someone shot my cat

I remember a time when this site was "country" and "SSS" was the advice usually given when someone mentioned "free range" dogs and cats intruding on the property of others. It's not so"country" here anymore!

What have 4620's been selling for?

Someone wants to pawn off a running 4620 in "average" condition on me as payment on a bill (not pertaining to the tractor). It DOES need the brake valve O.H.ed. What have these been selling for? Is there any collector interest in them? It's located in north central N.D..

Steering seal under the steering wheel

CR, I THINK his orbitrol steering valve (CharLynn) is different than the type you are familiar with (Ross) and, (as I wrote) the visible seal is for keeping dust and water OUT, but doesn't seal oil in. IF, in fact, it is NOT a Ross, to replace the oil seal it's going to have to come apart.

    1486 TA lever

There is a "morse cable" that mechanically connects to lever to the TA valve in the MCA, likely the inner core of the cable has broken. https://www.tractorpartsasap.com/torque-amplifier-control-cable-new-120003c2-121575.html
