    I've had 2 Oliver 770 LP's for sale for over a year. Nobody seems interested. Used them to run feed mixers and feed cows for 35 years. Nice for inside work ,start good in winter,and fuel is half price. Fueling is not hard if you vent correctly. $5000 for two .

    There are lots of 90 degree gearbox flat berlt pulleys that bolt over the pto available and for running mountet pickers a large V pulley was fitted directly to the pto shaft.

    I believe one of best Ford tractor engine rebuilders is Farmland Tractor Tangent OR ,a ways S of you. I got an 8670 rebuilt engine from them about 7years ago and was well satisfied ,even though I paid freight for engine exchange from WI.

    Just throttle down a bit and save fuel.I had two of them back in the 70's. One without cab and one with.Had to be careful to keep the rear axle U-bolts tight. They have a dry clutch which may have to be replaced.

    The 6000 ? It had most of the features of the JD 4010 with the power shift a few years and 2 speeds ahead but wasn't ready for production. The power shift engineer went to JD.

    Tkank's for correcting the factory location. I thought it was in SW Scotland. I like the Leyland 384 and 270 that I have,but their design of the final drive ,brakes ,and pto-hydraulic was old. No planetary drive and wet disc brakes and pto clutch also shuts off hydraulics.

    1660 2 speed hydro?

    i.I had a 1660 about that age, and it was 2 WD. It hat a 3 speed transmission and went close to 20 mph . only i speed hydro. If rear steering is loose can be tricky to drive that fast.
