    Power steering

    I have a 400 industrial, very similar to a ag 2020. It has manual steering with an Anadolu aftermarket power assist unit that is malfunctioning. Can I convert it to factory style power steering by simply bolting the factory closed center steering box to it and plumbing it up?

    Frontier mower repair

    A friend bought a new 5 foot Frontier finish mower recently. The front is v shaped, like a nose I guess you could say. She has bent this nose downward by hitting the edge of a concrete slap so it drags the ground. Any ideas on how to bend the nose back up?

    Safety switch

    After the close call last week I went ahead and added a kill switch to the tractor's ignition. Works just like a boat's. If I fall off or get knocked off it turns the tractor off. That assumes I have it clipped onto to myself.

    903 Post Hole Digger

    Just picked up a 903 auger for $125. It came with a 9 inch a7ger and everything works like its supposed to. Only problem is the bolt holding the auger bit to the gearbox output shaft is broken. The bit is stuck to the output shaft. Any ideas on getting the two apart?

    Surging fixed

    The new to me 4000 had a bad surging problem. Carb float was set 1/2 - 5/8 inch. Adjusted it to 1/4 inch and reset linkages. Problem appears to be solved.

    Plug wire location

    Noticed today the #1 plug wire on the 641 is 180 degrees different than the #1 wire on the 4000. On the 641 it attaches to distributor next to the #1 plug. 641 runs fine, 4000 surges. Which is correct? Could this be causing the surging. 4000 carb is a zenith and is set 4.5 turns out.

    New to me 4000

    Picked up a 4 cylinder 4000 this afternoon. Runs fine, lift works great. Just needs paint, rear tires, and putting to work. Has the parking brakes still intact and a working rest o ride seat.

    Heard a knocking in the rear end of the 641. Upon inspection found broken teeth on ring gear and pinion ate up. Located used parts near Chattanooga so a road trip is in order.

    Collapsed radiator

    Was bush hogging yesterday. Noticed top of radiator is collapsed,sucked in,this morning. While cooling off it must have created a vacuum. Overflow hose was crimped a little and had debis in the end of it. Any ideas as to other causes?
