    Sharpen bush hog blades

    When I sharpened my woods mower blades, I would raise up the mower, and block it good. Then crawl under the deck, using a 4 inch hand grinder sharpen both blades. Get the coarsest wheel possible to take off metal fast, The less time under the mower the better. It's very uncomfortable. Stan .,

    Kids think it's on to use other people's land to dig holes for no reason. Today I am mowing a field I have mowed for several years. I am just about finished and my right rear drops in a hole up to the axle. Left front tire in the air. No chance of driving out. the R rear just spins in the hole...

    What did you lose today?

    I forgot to chain my mower on one corner today. I got to my next job no chain binder. Then when I got home my radio head set didn't come home with me. It just vanished. I have more chain minders, but only one radio. Stan

    Three days in a row

    Day one, fixed a oil leak on my JD 401B pressure control valve. Day two the spline adapter on my mower gear box failed, Day three today. The pto shaft on my flail mower slip clutch broke off. This was a poor weld from the factory,. Very seldom I have to load up and come home. Two days in a row...

    1950 M Farmall clutch, installed new clutch and pressure plate. now when engage clutch cant shift without grinding gears,

    First thought I had was maybe the clutch disc was installed backwards. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. I put a slider gear in backwards on a jeep transmission, and had only low and reverse. Stan
