    White 2-105 Crank no start

Do those marks align with the flywheel at TDC mark?

Having to sell a Oliver Super 99 GM Diesel and I have some questions?

I'd love to have it, but I see your in Alberta Canada, quite aways away from me. Somebody will give a couple grand for it the way it sits. Those are fairly rare tractor that a lot of people want with that Detroit in. Tractors in running condition similar to what you have pictured normally...

    Oliver Super 77 timing

The 22* mark is most likely 2 9/32 from TDC. 22* is fully advance at rated RPM using a timing light which should align with the IGN-HC mark on the flywheel

    White 2-155 hydraulics

Looks like a pretty nice tractor for the age any being original. Cab isn't all rusted out either. Those FWD front axles are quite $ to repair. We have a 2-155 that we put an 8.3 cummins in. It was underpowered with the old hercules, but not terrible. The price tag is pretty high, but tires...

    Sleeve Protrusion 310 idi diesel

You would probably be ok at .001" with that engine. They do make .002 shims. With more liner projection, the head gasket fire ring will get more crush and less likely for it to blow.

    White 2-155 hydraulics

Been awhile since I had one apart. Tractor doesn't need split. U need to take the top cover off the top of the transmission to access the tube inside going to the pump if I remember correctly. Pump pulls out the side of the transmission case. The hydraulic pump is mounted directly to it. Not...

    White 2-155 hydraulics

Could also be the filter in the bottom of the transmission or pickup tube to the charge pump. Either way its related to the charge pump suction side

    White 2-155 hydraulics

The charge pump seals located behind the hydraulic pump are most likely not sealing properly causing the hydraulic oil to drain back into the rear. The shaft could be worn also in the charge pump.

Yep, just saying that pump wasn't even original to a 770 either

    cat 3116 engine mui governor

It will be at wot until engine starts cranking and running. The governor will pull the rack back to desired rpm. So if u are scared to start it because u don't think it will go back to idle, hook a pair of needle nose vise grips on the rack so u can control it manually.

I guess if the brake covers were removed, we could tell if it had the bolt on adapters for the discount brakes n then he would know for certain

That pump as 635 after the prefix, indicating 6 cylinder with 35 plungers, way overkill for this. I think a roosa pump for something like this would have been 27 size plungers. So no, that pump is definetely not original. The hubs come up under a fleetline in agco parts books......

I understand what u say. The regular 88s I've seen never had the gussets at the axle housing mounting that I've seen. Axles could have been swapped.... not sure if housings we updated with the brakes at that point. We had an 88 with 1 super and 1 regular axle in...... a fleeting had band...

    cat 3116 engine mui governor

When turning the key on it will pull it to wot. Shutting key off will shut the rack. Something in that governor isn't assembled correctly

I'm thinking u have a super 88 rear also. Regular 88 axle housing didn't have the gussets in near the mounting to the rear housing either like yours.

Best of my knowledge an 88 fan should fit the 770 water pump

Radiator should be able to handle it unless the fins can't get air through them or it's plugged internally. Fan looks like it may be on the small side, like a 77 fan, not an 88. The 77 and 770 radiator are about 2" narrower than an 88 so the fan may be about 2" too small. Make sure it has a...
