    Battery weed eater

The 20V Ryobi I got the wife a few years ago is still doing well using my 18V Makita LXT batteries with an adapter.

    110 volt welder recommendations

I recently got a Primeweld MIG180 and so far it's quite nice. 120V and 240V capable and also includes a spool gun for aluminum. Pretty decent capacity on 120V and of course more on 240V.

    What did you lose today?

$240 and some time replacing a failed EGT sensor on the F350.

    Wireless Trailer Rear View Camera

I've also started seeing semis with cameras on the back of the trailer. Considering what a semi costs and the need for dash cams anyway, it's a low cost welcome addition.

    Wireless Trailer Rear View Camera

What I really need is a portable battery powered magnetic mount camera that can be switched to "normal" orientation readily. Primary need is when using clamp on forks on the backhoe where you have pretty much zero visibility of the forks. Something I can mag onto the loader bucker with a good...

    Barnyard Area Light

Yes, consider yourself lucky. Something like 80% of the world's population lives with light polution and has never seen the night sky.

These little kids are gonna be a problem

Goat is very tasty, largely interchangable with lamb. People who don't like it usually have feed fed some poorly prepared goat, often from an intact male and somtimes one that was injured and thus became food, all of which will make for a pretty poor result. Meat from a female or castrated...

What size is M24X2 Castle Nut?

https://www.mcmaster.com/products/nuts/system-of-measurement~metric/thread-size~m24/locknuts~/locking-type~cotter-pin/ Says 36mm. McMaster has the best search feature by far and is great as a reference, not just for buy parts. They have CAD prints for nearly everything available as well.

    Barnyard Area Light

I said "dusk-to-dawn light pollution generator", the insecurity lights that those from the city have to have when they move to the country as they have never seen actual night, always city street lights and other city light pollution. They are terrified of all nocturnal creatures and think they...

    Barnyard Area Light

Please consider using a manual switch or a decent timer, not a dusk-to-dawn light pollution generator as used by the city folks who move to the country and promptly destroy it with their insecurity lights because they have never seen natural nightime and are afraid of everything. For my...

    Cylinder pin removal thoughts...

Yea, I'll give the air hammer a try before and perhaps after the bolt welding. It appears the weather may cooperate enough to get back at it today.

    Cylinder pin removal thoughts...

Seems a lot more material and effort than welding a bolt on the end of the pin and using a stud pulling ram from KO punch set.

    Cylinder pin removal thoughts...

That is the 5T rated pull back ram. I doubt the wrench could withstand anywhere near the limit but it did take a good amount of pull to get that end cap loose. The current problem cylinder is on the backhoe and is too large dia for that wrench to fit. The stuck cross pins are also a lot longer...

    Cylinder pin removal thoughts...

I don't think so, it's moving with great difficulty, i.e. rust buildup, the cylinder isn't showing any sign of being pushed to one side it shifts back and forth by hand easily.
