    2012 ford f250

    Makes ya glad ya spent the extra $8k for the diesel + $100 oil changes + higher fuel cost, doesn"t it? My 2012 6.2 gasser gets 15 running around empty & 10 pulling my 36", 8k# TT, gas is 50 cents less per gallon & oil changes cost me $50. Just saying.

    Calling compressor repairmen

    I have one just like that about the same age& it cracked the line from the compressor to the tank right at the check valve at the tank. Took me a while to figure that one out. Reflared the end of the line & put it back together. Has been about a year since & still going strong. HTH

    Wait till they tell you they're going to start charging you $175/yr just to have their tank whether you use it or not. AmeriGas did that to us, called them & told them to come get their tank when it was empty. Put in a pellet stove & bought our own 100# tank for backup. Everyone is...

    Power usage-AC vs. DC.

    The key is wattage. Wattage stays the same whether 12v or 120v. 120v *.2a=24watts. 24watts/12v=2a. The current from the inverter to the fence charger will still be .2a, BUT the current to the inverter from the battery will be 2a+whatever loss is inherent in the inverter, connections, etc.

    Are the thermostats being installed correctly? Sounds suspiciously like a thermostat being installed backwards. Spring end ALWAYS goes toward the engine.

    Front Mount Distributor Bushings

    Hi guys. Long time listener, first time caller. '48 front mount, 6v, 8n. Anybody have an alternate part # for the front & rear bushings in the distributor other than the Ford #'s? Was hoping to be able to get them at NAPA. TIA

    Moth balls in baler?

    Yep. Use "em all the time. In the camper, tractor, attic, under the deck in the summer to keep wasps/hornets from making nests. Works good for me.
