Ford 641 Carburetor Float, Has Me Pulling My Hair!

Is the float leaking, getting fluid inside it, or the valve letting fluid leak past it?

    110 volt welder recommendations

I have Lincoln machines, one 120v, and like the brand. Realistically as far as the major name brands go its just what you get used to. About like Chevy, Ford, etc.

    Sharpen bush hog blades

I use a 4.5 inch angle grinder, raise the bush hog up with the 3 point lift and support it with a heavy steel saw horse.

12V Sprayer pump flow and pressure question

I would cheat and look at some of the store bought models of similar size and go from there.

    Dowsing Rods

I usually have a pair in the truck made of welding rods bent at 90 degrees. Works to find water, phone, and electrical lines.

Best tool for this risky cut in metal

I used a grinder with a cutoff wheel to put an access panel in the bed of my Silverado. I was able to get a welding blanket between to tank and truck bed for the sparks. Then welded tabs on the removed section so I could just set it right back in place.

    Zero turn mower

A little fabrication work for a bracket and you could probably install small electric fans to blow across the hydraulics.

    4 1/2 in grinding discs

I'm also a flapoer disc fan, especially for sharpening mower blades. I clamp the blade in a vise and use both hands on the grinder.

Did you use your tractor today?

No pictures but used the Ford 4cyl 4000 to plow up a small garden for a neighbor.

    Looking for a new toy

We like our TX Gator. Its old, has 1800 hours, but still looks goid and runs like it should.

    Bucket for loader

I agree with Tony. Hop online and order a pair of skid steer universal quick attach brackets. Cut the pin mount brackets off your trashed bucket for reuse.

    Need some help

On lots of these old tractors dont worry about wire color as much as where its coming from and going to. Many of the wires have been replaced or spliced with whatever wire was handy. For lights I would use a red wire and a black one.
