    It was a thin band about 1/4-3/8 inch wide and operators would try to stop a rotary cutter from spinning when they shut them off and burnt the bands up in short order.

    Rich is right I am pretty sure. I think the power steering on lower front panel that molinegb is talking about came out on the 5star, I could be wrong. If you go to the MMCI web site somewhere on there is a chart for the right decal placement for all MM tractors. MMDEL

    Depends what you have! The gas, LP tractors and the Diesel tractors have different pumps. In no case is there a LIP seal used for sealing water. Don't know what book you have?     Then put an M5 manifold on it. It is much less money, and you will gain some horse power. And it sits further away from the hood so it won;t burn the paint so bad.     Is your U tractor a factory LP or a conversion??????? You don't want a manifold with a heat riser. It should be a cold manifold. If your tractor has a manifold with the intake and exhaust connected together you need a LP int. and ex. They should be easy to find. Check with Stamm in Kansas or...

    Check the lever on the throttle shaft I have had them come loose or broken. That can give you fits. Like said previous loose throttle plate would give same malfunction. MMDEL

    M-M gauges

    All you have to do to check any bulb is hook it up to a 6V batt. If it burns bright it is a 6V bulb, if it burns weak it is a 12V bulb. Don't do it the other way around or you will blow out the 6V bulbs. on 12V. MMDEL
