Ford 2000 Power Steering Asst. Cylinder Disassembly

I was going on the assumption you had half inch rods. New Holland lists part number FP541 for the 5/8 rod with the welded cylinder and I don't see that available on this site...

Advice on 3 pt pallet fork

I had a set of adjustable ones on my old style 4000 and always left the set out and they were only 36 inches wide. I did make up a hydraulic top link which made them much more user friendly.

Ford 2000 Power Steering Asst. Cylinder Disassembly

The correct kit would have an inner seal, bushing, outer seal(wiper seal) washer and snap ring. All are installed over the rod as the rod cannot be removed without cutting the cylinder. The part number for the correct kit is CAPN3301B and it can be purchased from this site.

Pulling with your 9,2 or 8N

I pull with a 1942 2N and does quite well in the 2500lb class and a 1948 8N that does ok in the 3000lb class. All the pulls I do are for non modified antique tractors.

    Ford 801 shift lever removal

It is on a tapered shaft with a woodruff key. Try tapping up on the lever down close to the base.

Tractor question that's really about implements

I agree with MJMJ, the 19 hp would run it but that tractor is way to light and the baler will push it around. It is also very unlikely the 501 mower will fit as the sub compacts have a limited 3 point hitch.

    3930 oil leak

The grove on the bottom is there as a way to move the tube. You may need to move the tube down a little to access the snap ring.

    Ford 555 water pump pressure

Water pumps do not create the pressure in the cooling system. The pressure is created by the rising temperature of the coolant. It's possible the thermostat is stuck closed preventing flow.
