    Using a ohm meter on the condenser can be informative. It should show only a very brief pulse of conductivity, then nothing. if it shows continuous continuity it is bad. the copper strip could also be touching the flat washer under the non standard hold down screw! jIM

    Make sure the fuel is being delivered to the carb in quantity. A stuck float can also be a cause of zero fuel. You might be able to remove the bowl and assess the flow without removing the entire carb. Jim
