    No, it's a slide in seal where the upper half slides in over the crankshaft and the lower half sits in the rear main bearing block, but I'm finding out they no longer make them. Now I have to take the motor completely out and fit a standard 44 bearing on there, I have to drill and tap holes and...

    Mine has the MH-277 G engine. The oil seal is a two part seal without a metal flange.

    Does anybody know where to find the rear crankshaft oil seal on a Massey Harris 44 special? I can get the front one but I can't find the rear one, any help would be greatly appreciated.
