With the injector removed, you can use a long wooden dowel inserted through the injector hole to hopefully tap the power cell loose.

Case 930 transmission bearing needles in oil.

The 3 compartments are not totally isolated from each other. The oil can rapidly move between them. If you remove 1 of the drain plugs you will quickly find the vast majority of the transmission oil streaming out. So there are some major openings in the partitions. Yes, all 3 drain plugs must be...

Case 930 transmission bearing needles in oil.

I would suspect reverse idler shaft. If that is where the problem is, the tractor will likely pop out of reverse, particularly under load. I have a 930 (8 speed) with a front-end loader that developed that issue. I happened across a 1030 with a recently rebuilt transmission that had a blown...

    Needing a little hydraulic schooling

Spend your money on an auxiliary pump if you need more volume and/or pressure, either front mount or PTO.

    Tornado Damage

Very sorry to hear of your situation. The cleanup alone looks like an immense task, let alone the rebuild. Your attitude will go a long way in getting through this disaster. Thankful that you, your wife and pet survived unharmed.

    Tractor Information

Yes, you have a Case 830. The "832" signifies that it is "western special" ( standard, non adjustable tread) diesel. The "C" shows it has the "Case-O-Matic" transmission option (torque converter) instead of the standard dry clutch. If it was a rowcrop version the serial number plate would chow...

    430 and 530 diesels

Sheet metal, radiators and fuel tanks were essentially the only differences between 430 and 530. Case-O-Matic transmission was available option on 530 but not 430 according to sales literature. Parts book combines both models in mid and late production years.

    430 and 530 diesels

I have 2 430 diesels, Don,and both have 28" rubber. Looking at the parts book, either size tire was available on both the 430 and 530. Perhaps different areas and dealers had different preferences. Also, in response to the original post, the 630 used the same engine with the pump turned higher yet.

15-30 7.5x18 old style 3 rib front tires

7.50 x 18 three rib tires are widely available from several manufacturers. Any ag tire dealer should be able to source them for you

    2 halves

I did the same with a 930 and 1030 but the 1030 had a recently rebuilt transmission but bad engine and the 930 had transmission issues. Sold the defective halves to a dismantling yard for more than I paid for 1030! The 930 is still going strong. Talk about a cheap fix, that was it.

Case 930 CK (1965-69) Standard Tread Value

The big question in my mind is "Why was it abandoned and neglected for all those years?" Was the exhaust covered?

You need a "rosebud" on the oxyacetylene torch. Lots of heat.

    Case 900 tractor hydraulics

If I remember correctly, the coupler should have a raised "key" on 1 side and a keyway on the opposite side. They will be oriented at right angles to each other. There should be a wire retainer that holds the coupler in place during installation. Once installed, the coupler is captured between...
